How it works
Your own franchise board, meeting every month.
One monthly fee gives your leadership team two highly experienced advisers, one commercial and one legal, sitting at your boardroom table every month to help you make better decisions.
Who joins your board
Two senior advisers. Both at every meeting.
Commercial and legal perspectives are considered together, in the same room, on the same decisions.

Joel Bissitt VFP
Commercial franchising: growth, recruitment, network development and international expansion.

Ian Townsend VFP
Legal and commercial perspective: agreements, risk, structure and transactions.
Every month
How each board meeting works.
The same disciplined rhythm, every month, so each meeting builds on the last.
- 01
Before the meeting
You set the agenda
Send the issues on your mind and any supporting figures or documents, five working days ahead. We read everything before we meet.
- 02
The meeting
Your private board meeting
A structured video boardroom with Joel and Ian, normally two hours. We work through your agenda, challenge assumptions and help you reach decisions.
- 03
Closing the session
Agreed priorities
Every meeting ends with clear agreement on what matters most over the coming month, and who is doing what.
- 04
After the meeting
Written action summary
A concise written record of the decisions made and the priorities agreed, so your team leaves with direction, not just discussion.
Every quarter, we also step back with a strategic progress review: what has moved, what hasn't, and where the next quarter's focus should be.
On the agenda
What a typical month might cover
- Franchise recruitment strategy and franchisee quality
- Network performance, royalties and franchisee profitability
- Operational challenges and support structures
- Franchise agreement and contractual considerations
- Growth plans, territories and new opportunities
- Business value, succession and exit planning
Getting started
Joining the Boardroom
- 1
Confidential conversation
A private discussion to understand your business and whether the Boardroom is the right fit.
- 2
Onboarding
Engagement terms and conflict checks are completed, and we get to know your business and team.
- 3
Your first board meeting
From there, you meet every month, with a six-month minimum initial engagement.
The basis of membership
A board meeting, not an hourly support bank.
Membership is built around your monthly board meeting with senior advisers. It is not on-demand consulting, and unused time does not carry forward. Preparation, focus and written follow-up are what make the time valuable.
Begin with a confidential conversation.
Engagements are selective and begin with a private suitability discussion. Onboarding is subject to suitability and availability.
